Where do you draw the line between normal delivery time and express delivery?
There’s no hard and fast rule about where to draw the line between a regular and an express translation. A single translator can translate about two to ten pages per day, but what can be achieved in a given time depends on the circumstances - the difficulty of the text, the subject matter, the technical tools, the file format, the language combination, etc. So the situation may be completely different from one assignment to another.
But always remember – if you're not in a hurry, don't rush the task. If we have plenty of time, we are in a better position to do a good job. When time permits, we like to have a week for texts of 1–20 pages, but nothing is set in stone.
